This post is a little longer than normal but I hope you take the time to read it ❤️ I wanted to share a story about a young couple I met and how Reiki helped to heal their souls in 2 different ways: one by transitioning his soul into the spiritual world, and the other through healing her soul here in the physical world. Grief can sometimes feel so overwhelming that it’s hard to see clearly. Whether it stems from the loss of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or any significant life change, grief can leave us feeling lost in a world that just keeps moving forward without us. While everyone heals from grief in different ways, one way to help heal is through the power of Reiki. Reiki can assist in your grief healing journey through the following: 🫶🏽 Emotional Release: Reiki allows you to let go of all those feelings we keep locked away. You know how sometimes we hold back our tears? Yup, Reiki helps us let those feelings flow so we can heal. ✌🏽Stress Reduction: Reiki promotes deep relaxation, helping individuals to cope with the overwhelming sensations that accompany grief. ⚡️Energy Alignment: Reiki works to realign and balance the body’s energy centers (chakras) so you can feel like YOU again! 🫂 Spiritual Comfort: Reiki provides peace in connecting to a higher power or universal consciousness, offering a sense of comfort and understanding through grief. 💕 Self-Reflection + Growth: Reiki fosters introspection and self-awareness, empowering individuals to navigate the depths of grief with courage and resilience. I say this all the time as a reminder: Reiki is not going to magically heal your grief. I know I’ve been a bit under the radar this year, but if I’m being honest, taking a break from being so seen online has been such a relief. Being a 6/2 Sacral Generator in Human Design, the “2” line in me often wants to just hide away from the world for weeks or even months at a time! Feeling the pressure of having to always post on social media, send monthly e-mails out to my e-mail list, or even promote my own business sometimes just makes me want to disappear...and so, that’s what I did. But, as I learn more about my own HD and how I am meant to navigate through the world, the great part about me “hiding away” is that it’s only temporary. I take these moments to build myself back up so I can return and give you all the best version of me. Being on my own spiritual journey, I’m currently in this space of trusting what the Universe has in store for me. Even though I haven’t posted online much, I have trusted that my people will find me when it’s aligned. In this quiet time of solitude, I have been conducting healing sessions, private Group Reiki and sound baths, and I have had multiple people find me through Yelp or word of mouth. As scared as I was to take a tiny break for fear of people “forgetting about me”, this was a reminder from the Universe to just trust. I’m human too, so I know how easy it is to forget. Our ego wants so many things and it wants it now. As we work toward our goals, we can get so lost in the mission that we forget about enjoying the journey and being present. By trusting our journey, we are able to find moments of clarity, so we can discover ourselves, our purpose and the endless possibilities that are truly meant for us. So, as I slowly return to the online world, I invite you to trust your journey as well. Is there something you’ve been afraid to do? Have you been holding yourself back in some way? How are you taking care of yourself physically, mentally, spiritually? Do you remember your “why” and what your passion is? 🌟Congratulations to @myron.msnrn ! 🌟 It was truly a joy guiding Myron through the transformative journey of Reiki Level 1 a couple of weeks ago, followed by the completion of Level 2 last weekend. When I say the Universe guides your people to you, that is no joke. I met Myron through my doctor’s office because he’s the RN who would administer my infusions. As I sat there for my monthly hour long infusions, we somehow started discussing Reiki and the positive effects I believe it’s given me for my Lupus. That’s when he mentioned all about his goal to treat patients holistically as an RN. His long term goal is to eventually open up a wellness center with his wife, Monica @ajourneyto.haven (who was also Reiki Certified last month) so they can holistically treat those in need who otherwise couldn’t afford it. I am so inspired by their mission, and can’t wait to witness what’s to come from them both! This also serves as a reminder that Reiki can be incorporated into all types of current jobs: from beauty professionals to those already working in the medical field. Reiki has its place in each person it comes across. There are no limits.
